Jim,
 If you have 120VAC power connected to the trailer, it could come from
any number of sources. I'd start with checking out the ground
connections, both 12VDC and 120VAC. You might try grounding the negative
power lead for the radio to the body shell very near the radio. Also,
install a largeish capacitor across the 12VDC line very near the radio.
