Jim, filtered would mean that there should be very little AC on the 12 VDC
lines. Correct? How much AC would there be to cause 60 cycle hum in the
audio and be potentially unfriendly to the ignition board in my new Atwood
water heater? The Atwood instructions recommend connecting directly to the
battery.
