Dan... similar problem. I've found a degreaser that works really 
well, I'll see if I've still got the bottle and give you the name. I 
also used bleach, lysol,spic and span, and sos pads. Plus lysol spray 
and left windows open for days at a time. I also had the problem of 
spilled food, sugar and 30 years of accumulated dirt and grease, 
which had its own unpleasant smell. With regards to the tub etc., 
I've got a friend who does a lot of boat work. Took my stuff over to 
him and the next time he was spraying gelcoat on some boat parts he 
did my things too! It was at the end of the day and saved him some 
cleanup and it cost a case of beer for me! Great, everything looks 
like new! Hope that helps.
