Re: [A/S] 3-way fridge

I have a little bit of a different take on a 3-way fridge. I have
had a couple of them. In the beginning, I was frustrated with it.
But once I became clear on the concept, I found it to be not only
useful but difficult to be without, especially if you prefer not to
travel with the LPG turned on.

The 12 volt mode is designed to "maintain" the fridge during
intervals when there is not gas or 110vac. Mine would do that well
until I started opening the fridge door. Two or three door openings
would be a real strain on the system and require hours to recover.

If your batteries are low, old, or not maintained well, it'll get
them in a hurry. But if you understand that it is just to maintain
the temp at a minimal level until you get other service, and do a
quick door open grab the milk and close it, it will serve you well.

My problem was that Marilyn would drive and I would stand at the
fridge looking for something to eat. She finally figured that going
from a MH to a trailer would keep me away from the fridge and
probably be good for my health.
