Jim, We use a fitted single on the sofa. While we don't sleep on the sofa, we do keep it covered by the fitted single. The weave of the sofa cloth seems to be easily snagged. As a matter of fact the Safari we originally looked at was snagged. You will find that the single sheet will fit just great. Regards, Jack
