[A/S] Cheap Airstream

Well I am a newbie posting here. Just bought our Airstream last 
month. It is a 31' Land Yacht International rear twin. Some dents and 
dings and had been sitting since 1989. We have a lot of work to do! 
The best part - everything is original - 8 track player even works as 
well as all lights. Bad part - a small leak filled moisture into the 
critter and I am still washing mildew off the walls but it is looking 
good. Mice, mice, mice. The owner put poison in but not before there 
were "presents" everywhere. The critter was in a back yard of a house 
that was auctioned at an estate sale. Everyone else walked in the 
camper and the odors drove them out. Not me! Get this - the executors 
would not take my high bid of $200 (there was another bidder) but 
they did take $425. We know new brakes and tires are in the future 
but we got it home on a ball - can't reason with my hubby - when he 
wants something done he does it now. So after 10 miles of bouncing 
over back roads we have our work cut out for us. Must buy another 
hitch before spring - income tax rebate? Oh - have Ford F250 PS 
diesel so we won't be blown off the road - hopefully. I am not 
looking forward to the first tractor trailer passing. Well just 
wanted you to see there are still bargains out there - just wish out 
bargain was just a little smaller but it will be nice when we get to 
Chincoteague, VA. Kathy
