Sam, a number of RV places sell a kit that lets you hand pump anti freeze
through your water lines through an opened faucet. Before I learned
differently, I just blew out the lines on my first Airstream, a ' 71
Tradewind. It froze and burst a water line the winter of ' 71. Naturally,
the split pipe was in the most difficult place to access and replace. Been
using anti freeze after blowing out the lines ever since. I've installed a
kit on my ' 68 Tradewind so I can pump anti freeze through the water lines
(bypassing the water heater) using the water pump.
