Hi
I too had heard the same warnings.They said the valves would  be damaged by 
the cooler water flowing around the heads. Trust me its a bunch of bull. The 
only way too much cooling could be bad is if you have no thermostat in at 
all. With none the water is not in the block long enough to pull the heat 
out, while the gauge would read cooler(water temp) the block would actually 
be hotter. You can't beat the 460/C6 combo. If I can get a 460 in I will do 
that instead of a beefed up 351.
