Doug, I would want concrete to minimize moisture under the trailer, promote 
good drainage, and provide a long term level parking spot.  If you don't want 
concrete, I would use what we call in Kentucky DGA (dense grade aggregate).  
It is a mixture of about minus one inch and finer crushed limestone.  When 
rolled, it makes a very solid surface.  You will want to make sure you have 
good drainage around your parking pad.
