Funny you should ask!
We've been discussing the very topic lately! My Bowen was terminal so on
the advice of Airstream Co. I bought an Atwood 6 gal from CW and
installed it on my 67 Safari. The only problem is that the outside cover
is much smaller than the Bowen so you have a gap that has to be
replaced. I have temporarally put a sheet of alumium cut to size around
the opening while I figure it all out. The new Atwood works great! Heats
7 gals per hour and I haven't run out of hot water yet.
