Hi Susan,

Here's *my* take on it..... if you cherish your cats *don't* let them out of 
your trailer.... unless you are with them and they have on a harness and a 
leash. I see many people sitting out next to their RV...with kitty on a 10-20 
foot lead. Kitty can roam around safely. Never leave kitty tied up and go 
back in the RV... he's a sitting duck.

Kittys running loose are not appreciated in campgrounds.

Kittys running loose don't necessarily return.

I've parked next to people who let kitty out and 10 days later are still 
parked there hoping kitty will come back.

I think it's pretty cavalier to let kitty loose in a strange campground...or 
any strange place.

The traffic alone could kill him... not to mention dogs, wild animals and 
campground sickies.

I'm still upset by the guy at the Airstream park in Florida who clubbed 
armadillos to death........ and poisoned squirrels... I doubt kitty would 
have survived that lunatic.

There's also the fear of antifreeze, poisons........

The outside world is not safe for kittys.... especially a place where he's 
not at home. 

Better safe than sorry applies.
