Sounds pretty involved. The EU series Hondas run the engine RPM according to
the load demand to minimize fuel consumption. At maximum output the engine
is running at it's governed speed which is apparently 3600 RPM. It would
seem to the electrically challenged that both engines would need to be
running the same RPM for the output to be in phase with each other.

Whatever the need, I assume the Honda engineers have it worked out.
