The EU3000is weighs about 150lbs when filled with it's 3.5 gallons of 
gas.  That will allow me to run the AC for about 12 hrs or more, by 
the way.
I have a tarp over it now.  It is weatherproof, but the salt spray 
from the road would not be good so I've fabricated a stainless steel 
shield on the bottom and side, and when I get around to it there will 
be a stainless cover on it as well.  The generator can run fine in the 
rain.   I've used it in all kinds of weather, and it electric starts 
up fine when it's been as cold as 8 deg F last winter.
