I have heard through the Vintage club that you may be able to apply 
to the WBCCI and request the same old numbers that are already on 
your trailer.  If they are not in use by anyone else, they may 
accommodate you.  There are so many old, unused numbers, that it they 
are starting to recycle some of them...just what I heard, can't 
verify.
