Great suggestion, taking a Ford Power Stroke diesel to an International
(Navistar) dealer for service.

The local Navistar dealer is going to have far more diesel engine expertise
and talent than most Ford dealers.

Also, he has access to OEM parts as well.  And, they might be a little
cheaper since Navistar would most likely have a higher parts inventory
turnover and perhaps mark up the parts less.
