I have also had those tables that tend to swing when ytraveling.  The 
best solution I found was to purchase a wedge shaped rubber door stopper 
and wedge it under the table when traveling.  If the table is left up it 
will jiggle itself all over the place and damage othert parts.

Any hardware or Wally World has them.
