Re: [A/S] Inconsiderate Campers

Bob,

Problems such as the one you asked about to occur but are not real common
but they do happen. Some RV park owners/managers maintain very tight
control over their parks and prevent incidents such as that. A problem that
does frequently occur in parks is children or teenagers walking through the
middle of other camper's spaces as they travel between their family's space
and swimming pool or other recreational facility location.

Annoyances that occur in RV parks are not much different than those that
occur in retail stores, restaurants, entertainment venues, or on the streets
and highways. Some people are not very courteous or considerate in many
cases.

I have traveled with a trailer for many years and once planned every trip
around RV parks which I planned to overnight in. Over the last couple of
years I have begun to rely more on interstate highway rest stops, state road
side parks or rest stops, Wal-Mart parking lots, city parks, major truck
stops, etc. After a day of travel it is simply easier to pull in and park
at one of the above (or 100 others) than to locate a park, register,
maneuver into the assigned space, level the trailer, hook up utilities, etc.
Airstreams don't require hookups unless the weather is so hot and humid that
you can't survive without air conditioning. Of course if you are at your
destination to spend time, overnighting in temporary parking would not meet
your needs. RV parks or national, state, county, or city parks are better
for that situation.
