From a Watts/$ standpoint the generac wins by a large margin.  However 
the noise difference is substantial.  Keep in mind that the db sound 
scale is not linear, but is logrithmic.  So going from 59db to 86db is 
not a 46% increase but more like 2-3 times higher (I haven't done the 
math.) and I don't believe that the two generators will be completely 
additive in the noise level.  I'm speculating here.

And don't forget the all important Cylinder Index gain by having 2 
cylinders instead of 1.  :)
