The RM46 service manual describes "burping" as a first choice for 
reactivating a stopped cooling unit.
Another tip for determining whether a refer is of the more sensitive 
type is to look at the enclosure surrounding the heat exchanger. If it 
is square cornered it is of the older design. If it is
round, it is of the new design and less sensitive to off level 
conditions.
