Depends on how much current your air conditioner draws.  Easiest place 
to look is in the manual.  Next easiest is the unit data plate if you 
can find it.

Then look at the outlet in your garage that you want to plug into.  If 
the outlet had two vertical slots, its rated at 15 amps.  If it has 
one vertical slot and the other is a "T" slot on its side, the outlet 
is rated at 20 amps.

If your load, the air conditioner, needs more than 20 amps, including 
the starting surge, you'll need an electrician to run another circuit.

Many people have an AC voltmeter installed in a wall (any convenient 
location will do) to monitor low voltage in campgrounds before the air 
conditioner is damaged.  Too small a cable from your A/S can also 
cause reduced voltage.
