At present, the only thing that I can tell you is that the "odd fuse" looks like a circuit breaker that is made to fit in the normal "glass" fuse holder. Haven't come up with anything on the way the Univolt is acting. Had a '71 and never did understand how that Univolt worked, and had the manual for it.
