[A/S] Kill Switch

Mary,

Behind the front couch of our '86 32' Airstream, there is a recessed
circular spot with a kill switch in it. That turns off all 12 volt power
throughout the trailer.

If your Airstream doesn't have such an animal, you may want to consider
installing a kill switch in your Airstream (near the batteries), so you
won't have to muck around disconnecting the batteries every time you want to
work on 12 volt power lines.

The installation is straight forward and only takes time and a switch large
enough to accomodate the connectors you install on your battery wires.  Your
new friend in the NAPA automotive store can supply you with exactly what you
need and perhaps, might even give you a mini seminar on how to do it.  With
that and what you will be learning on this list should be sufficient for a
job well done.
