I have a 1961 Trade wind that I use as an office/work/drafting room. 
This particular Model would also lend it's self to being a good guest 
house. Bumper to hitch it is about 23'11" in length, inside
it measures abut 21' The fact that is a single axle trailer does not 
effect it's livability but should mean that it will cost less then a 
twin axle trailer. Interior lay is front living area, next
kitchen, then bed area with double bed, two closets and drawers, and 
finally a rear bath with separate tub/shower combo. A nice arrangement. 
If you can go that long I recommend it, the extra space
makes a difference and generally shorter Air Streams are in higher 
demand. If one were real sure that the trailer was going to be 
permanently in one spot one could remove the a frame hitch to
shorten it up once it was in place.
Will
