I got two tools with mine... a black thing, looks like a peace pipe...  with 
a square "cup"
and a "winder"..... it goes on the top of the spring bar jack to wind it up 
and down.  

A word of advice... get some white tape and wrap it around the black peace 
pipe thing.... like a barber pole..... I did that after I set it on my black 
bumper and drove off and lost it )c:  Haven't lost the new one because of the 
white tape.

You can get mirror extenders at any auto "stuff" store... Walmart, 
Advantage......

I don't use tow mirrors myself.... I do use the little mirrors that you sick 
on the big mirrors.... it has saved many lives of people in small cars.
