. Tom was interested when I told him about your post and Is reading a 
printout right now. We weren't seriously thinking of doing anything different 
- just entertaining ourselves talking about the options. It's good, though, 
to have someone with the experience you've had and who can put it all in 
perspective

When I walked inside the Bambi at Toscano RV - I took a quick look around and 
blurted "I WANT it" Fortunately, no salesman was near but they don't use 
pressure tactics at Toscano anyway (at least David Morse doesn't). I half 
expected him to say "we have someone else coming to look at it today".  
Instead Dave said we could put a $500. fully refundable deposit and make a 
final decision w/in 30 days  I had called all of the No. Calif A/S dealers 
trying to find a used Bambi and was tolf by the other dealers that used ones 
were hard to come by (esp. since they had been out for such a short time).

We had looked at just a few trailers before but one of them (A Salem brand, I 
think) had almost the exact layout as the A/S - but what a difference! Tom 
had pointed out how shoddily the Salem was constructed.
