Re: [A/S] Re: Airstream Motor Coaches
I think that's why, when I went and sat in the 21' Sovereign I got that
feeling about it.
The place where the Fleetwood Avion was for sale was a huge lot full of used
RVs on consignment... I mean over 100 of them, many were travel trailers. I
never got the feeling in them that I got when I went into that Airstream.
I did get the feeling when I went into an older silver Avion, but it was way
too heavy for the Suburban I had back then. Hahahaha, I had to sell it and
buy my big truck anyway.
One of the big differences between Airstream and the white square boxes is
the feeling of "class" inside. They are so much more tasteful, the wood is
real. You get a feeling of craftsmanship that you don't get in a white
fiberglass box.
I realize lots of people buy the white boxes because they think they can't
afford an Airstream... that's so wrong. Maybe they can't afford a new one,
but they can afford one 3-6 years old which will cost the same as a new piece
of crap. (I don't think all new trailers are crap BTW, but many are... one
that isn't is the Sunnybrook)
I always say, it's better to buy a used Mercedes than a new Yugo. (c:
