God sometimes looks out for the ignorant. I didn't even think of my 2 
semi-automatics I carry when traveling our B 190 crossed the border 
out of MT into Canada, since I didn't know of the ban. When asked I 
lied and said no, since my permit are only good in OR-WA-CA-NV-MT-
ID.  Drove on no problem. Our traveling companions, following 
immediately behind in a PU and Camper had a different story (same 
border guard) .  They got search …guns confiscated….paid a $1500.00 
fine…banned from ever entering Canada again…got turned around and 
headed home.  And he knew of the ban.  But He had NRA decal on truck 
side windows and a couple of pro-gum bumper stickers. I guess that 
could have been a hint :>)
