Having worked in auto manufacturing plants, I have looked closely 
at Firestone tires on vehicles other than Ford.  I find it 
interesting that the Firestone's Wilderness AT tires are on several General 
Motors vehicles, without incident!  By process of elimination, one might 
suspect that Ford has a problem, and it is Ford itself.  I own three Ford 
vehicles myself, one a tow vehicle. Cecil
