[A/S] Look at the bookmarks in the club and tell me what you think.

Hi all, I've been lurking on the list for months. I got interested in
Airstreams thru work originally. We needed some temporary office
space and the idea of craning an Airstream or two onto the roof
terrace of our office took on a life of its own with yours truly as
the ringmaster.

The idea failed because of zoning restrictions, but the upside is
that I became interested in reading the posts of this group and the
VAC. I've diligently read over almost every post since last year. One
thing that impressed me is the amount of knowledge that is freely
shared between folks. The downside is that it seems alot of this
information isn't saved beyond the archives of the group.

So I took it upon myself to start saving the web sites of information
that is shared. At first I saved it to my computer, then I thought
everyone here might benefit from the resources and took the time over
the last few days to post these bookmarks.

I've noticed that with any group of devotees there exists a core of
knowledgable people who are the keepers of alot of information. My
self appointed task is to mine this info off sites so that it can be
coherently saved for others to use as a resource to answer their own
questions. I think for newbies such as myself it's an excellent way
to gain enough knowledge to start asking questions.

I know that personally you've saved me alot of heartache as I was
looking at a rear bath stream that had the atypical droop. After
gaining the knowledge off this group I was able to identify the
problem and not buy this particular trailer. It'll probably be awhile
before I have the time to spend restoring a coach. I've also promised
my wife Eve that I'd get the house renovation done before I take on
any other projects because she knows my penchant for starting alot
and finishing little. So I'll have the next few years to keep
reading, renovating the house and paying for my two daughters to
complete college then I'll be Streamin.
