When we installed our wood floor, we were told it was important that the 
floor "float".  We were advised not to install anything that was cemented 
down - because of the twisting and turning as you travel down the road.  
We've been fulltiming nearly a year and the floor has held up beautifully.  
We didn't buy Pergo - ours is 'real' wood.  It is extremely easy to care for 
and looks great.  Incidentally, we have two dogs.
