Re: [A/S] hensely hitch question

Hunter,

One better ! I only get out once. I strap a 6 foot broom around my gas
tanks (on the tonque of the trailer) sight in my rear view mirror ( a spot
on my vehicle that lines up with the trailer using the broom as a center
focus point) .

With these new Ford Excursions they have the new back up beepers....they
beep faster the closer you get to an object. I listen to the backup beeper
and center on my broom stick and get out once to ...shout for joy !!! (you
should watch the neighbors...they are not too sure about the broom..maybe a
flag would work better...maybe not ?)

This saves alot of ...back and forth between Nancy (my wife) and me !

Of course for a newbie I get real excited when I dock and lock all in one
try...! But....it did take some time....You should of seen Nancy and I try
it for the first several weekends we tried to connect our truck to the
airstream. Finally I said there has to be a better way..no reason getting
every out of sorts before a great camping weekend.

All I can say.......keep on practicing ! Cann't hurt :-) !
