Re: [A/S] hensely hitch question

Huh? I have had a Hensley on both of my trailers..... Three years. I have
never moved the hitch bar from vehicle to trailer to vehicle. Why do you do
that?

Stick it in the truck's receiver.... back up with about 3 feet of the
trailer. Go back and see if you are lined up or how far you need to correct.
Get back in the truck and back up within about 1 foot. See if you need to
make corrections right or left and jack the trailer up or down so you know
the bar will slip in without hitting the top or bottom.

Get back in and back up within about 1 inch... go back one more time.... see
if everything is lined up. If ncessary you can realease the little pin
holding the hitch and move the hitch right ot left then lock it back into
place with the pin.

Back up and you should be in. If you are almost in and are strong you can
manually pull it the rest of the way with the black peace pipe looking thing
you got with it.

Once you do this a few times you will start nailing it... I've gotten out to
look and was already in.
