Jim,
Yes, the banana wraps are available. They are used on current 
production. Unfortunately, they only apply back to 1968. There is 
nothing available from Airstream for the pre-69's.
I recently removed the old style aluminum wraps from my Argosy. It 
wasn't that big a deal. The joint underneath had the banana wrap over 
the top of the belly metal. The plastic pieces are much more
durable.
