Jim,
I stand corrected, there are two of us with kids! We started with a pop up
also. I fixed up a used starcraft, and put heads and a transmission  on a
Plymouth voyager for about $2800. A drunk totaled all of it about two hours
after our first trip, right in front of my house. We couldn't find another
used pop up so we looked at an airsteam that had been in the papers for a
couple of weeks. It was love at first sight.

Our trailer came with a copy of Wally Bayam's book titled "Trailer Travel
Here and Abroad".
In the book Wally went to great lengths to distinguish Trailer Travel from
mere camping.
