Discussions within in this group not withstanding our experience at this 
dealership has been that the "pendulum style" controllers are the more 
popular. Given the types available to dealers the "ramp up" style is 
considered the most unsuitable for our mountainous terrain, while the 
"pendulum style" works quite well. When a customer asks for a brake 
controller, we go over all the available options and let them decide. We 
sell 150 pendulum styles a year. The only dealer in this area that sells 
many of the ramp style does so because they save his sales department 
$5-10 per unit.
