Re: [A/S] Busted pipe?

Frank,

I'm not familiar with your particular trailer floor plan so can't give
advice as to how to access your plumbing.

Using hoses and clamps at each end to replace only the damaged section of
tubing would be a satisfactory method of repairing the freeze damaged copper
plumbing lines. It might be preferable to cut the copper at each
(accessible) end and use compression (ferrule) copper fittings at each end
or at one end and new fittings to reconnect to the faucet at the other end.
Or, as many are doing including the manufacturers, use PEX plastic tubing to
replace either the damaged section or the entire plumbing system. PEX is
able to expand without splitting to withstand future freeze damage.
