 That's good advice. I'll add this: if the truck is lugging a bit going
uphill, force the downshift to 3rd and let the engine get back into its
powerband.

It cannot be emphasized enough: RTFM for YOUR tow vehicle, not your
neighbor's, not another listee's, not the one you had last year.
