Jim, my check was in the salesman's folder and was being processed when I 
realized that the warranty started upon delivery of the vehicle. One of the 
reasons it was so attractive was the cost and the extra time it would cover. 
I questioned the salesman 3 separate times about when the extended starts and 
how much extra time it gives me. Every time I was told it starts when my 
factory warranty ends. (which only makes sense) After reading my paperwork it 
sounded a lot different, When I talked to the service manager my suspicions 
were confirmed. It indeed did start from the date of delivery. I felt that I 
was misled and the deal lost it appeal. Your vehicle is newer and warrantees 
change over time, so I would have bought the same piece of mind if I could 
have.  
I don't know of any relatives in Iowa, but it is a small world and you just 
never know.
