there should be a tag on the rear differential that will give you a code
for the rear axle ratio (any dealer should be able to give you the 
information). Or lift the rear wheels off the ground and
turn the drive shaft and count how many times it takes to make the
rear tire to make one revolution. imho stay away from the 5.0L engine
it doesn't have enough "grunt" for your load.  Was the van imported from the 
States and sold directly through a dealer as new or as we say here
a "grey market" vehicle. one brought over by a private party and
sold from one individual to another. Good Luck  steve
