Verna, Leroy and others,

I guess that since you don't really boondock or depend on converting 12VDC
to 120VAC even for short periods of time, just buy Delco Voyagers for the
cheapest $ you can find them.

One thing I would do.....I would buy them at Walmart, Kmart or Sears because
of the availability of those stores and the warranty that probably goes with
them.

I wonder about the Univolt too.  I don't get good vibes from folks when they
talk about the Univolt's ability to perform without harming the batteries
and keeping them up to snuff without wearing them down due to improper
charge-rates.

I might have a different answer for someone that had different camping
techniques, but being away from a 30 amp hookup only for short periods of
time for travel isn't necessarily proving to me that you would benefit from
solar power.
