[A/S] Weather Alert Radios

Which reminds me - the weather alert radios that can be triggered by the
weather service to alert you of bad weather in your particular coded area
(Not just the regular radio that blabs all night regardless of conditions)
- What code do you put in? Is it as simple as entering your ZIP code, or
does it a more difficult to find code? I would like to have a radio tell me
about the weather in randomly-selected overnight stopping places, where I
may not know anything but the ZIP code.

Anybody using this system on-the-road? Comments?
