Hi John,

How old are the tires?  I ask because the Marathon C is what I had when I got 
that flat last summer.  The tire was so destroyed there was no way to tell 
what caused the flat so I went ahead a got 4 brand new tires. The tire place 
said the other 3 looked fine, but I figured they were 4 years old and one did 
go flat...or blow out (?)

If your tires are 4-5 years old or more I suggest you bite the bullet and 
replace them.  All four cost me $315.00 a small price for the peace of mind.
