[A/S] Mysterious lights are fiber optic cables

Being fiber optic cables so in your tow mirrors you know your trailer
lights are working.

They need to be kept clean to work well, both ends!  Most people forget
to dust off the side inside the tail light units.  An old tooth brush
works well.

Old Vetts ('70) have them too, they are on the consol below the shifter,
before the parking break.
