That was one of the things I noticed about most of the motorhomes and 
trailers (SOBs) that we saw at a huge local RV show (GoldenGate Fields 
racetrack parking lot) - it didn't matter how expensive the rig the hardware 
was mostly that cheap looking 'brass'.  One MH had beautiful wood and 
furniture but those el cheapo pulls.  Go figure!
