Hello, I use a Warner hydraulic over electric control on our 99 Tahoe 
with ABS. The secret is to be sure that you plumb it in, "upstream" 
of the antilock gadgetry. It works great. The GM owners manual states 
that these contollers can be used. I know a gentleman who is using 
the same controller on a new Ford Econoline Van. I don't know if it 
has the same brake system as the pickup.
