[A/S] Re: AIRSTREAM QUALITY

I guess the safest route would be to stick to the 1980s then?
Actually, I really don't want anything older than a 1983. I will not
have anyone to check out the Airstream I choose, so I might not notice
plastic, etc.

I would really like to get a model that has the feautres of the 1989
Excella. It has those 3 deep drawers under the opening for a
microwave and that cabinet with the beautiful mirrored doors, the
regular cabinet doors rather than the roll-up doors, and of course the
rear bedroom. Did they have this configuration any of the earlier
1980s models?

I found a 1989 Excella model at a dealer. They want $15,000. They
put in new plush carpet. I checked it all over and didn't see
anything wrong with it. I couldn't tell under the wheel wells if
there was oxidation. The skin was faded more toward the top front. I
will have $12,000 in May. Is $12,000 to $13,000 a good price for this
trailer? And no smokers must have ever owned the trailer.
