I don't see this announcement as a negative at all.  I don't think it 
is all that new either.  The factory has always offered services on 
older trailers.  I've had repair and routine maintenance work done on 
my 69 there and have seen other earlier coaches there as well.  I've 
noticed more than one add noting complete factory performed interior 
upgrades. As far as driving the price of vintage trailers, check the 
classifieds on AS Central and on the VAC.  There are always a good 
number of vintage trailers for sale.  Any given visit to e-bay will 
turn up a couple units for sale there.  If reasonably cared for these 
coaches will last a long time. Many good units they accumulated over 
time.
