Recently our region president wrote in one of his quarterly newsletters,
in-part:

Airstream sold 920 new vehicles in 2000.  216 to existing WBCCI members (24%
of total sold), and 704 to non-members.

Larry Huttle, President of Airstream, Inc. made a very interesting
presentation The new 70th Anniversary model, a 30' trailer with a dinette
slide-out

A new 26' motorhome is coming with a permanently set up bed and will use a
GM 8.1-liter engine and the Allison 5-speed transmission.  Mileage is 12-13
mpg.  The same company that paints Airstream motorhomes paints the new unit
silver.
