Re: [A/S] '64 Globetrotter 19' electricals/ 4 wires

Steve,

I asked the original question about these wires and didn't really get an
answer as to what they were. However, I studied the '72 service manual and
A/S is pretty consistent in it's use of four wires for the fluid level in
the various tanks. The black water holding tank is identified as red,
brown, black and green. The wires in the my refer duct are nearly identical
in my potable water unit, but they were dirty and I didn't really examine
them closely. The service manual says that they are red/white, black/white,
green/white, and brown/white. If your wires have these colors or close,
they are intended for holding tank level monitoring. Could be that A/S was
thinking gray water or moving the potable water tanks. I'm convinced that
these wires are identical in color to those that connect to my potable water
tank against the front of the trailer. The gauge of the wire isn't suitable
for much else. Well, it was mentioned that they might be A/C control or
speaker wires. Might depend on which floor plan A/S got around to using.

Hope this guess helps.
