Joy,
From your description and the one posted by Harvey Barlow (archived Dec 2000) ,
my angle iron seems to be positioned on the left and the right as I see it as I
look on from the back of my a/s not front and back. Also your description of how
the bolts are attached are not what I see. The shroud is attached directly to
the wood floor and I think that is why the bolts spin due to rot or soft wood.
My husband also said to try a torch which I will try if liquid wrench doesn't
work. I am going to post a photo when its stops raining here. It is suppose to
be sunny California. It really cuts in on my restoration time.
